Elvis is one big handsome man, just looking for a little love. This big boy is FIV positive, but it doesn't slow him one bit. He lives to eat and cuddle, and it is a day to celebrate when he gets to do both at the same time. Elvis does have sensitive skin, and therefore needs to be on a prescription select protein diet, but rest assured, he eats it with gusto! Elvis can be a little bit jealous of attention (and food), and isn't a big fan of sharing. He figures he's waited long enough for his new family, they should be all his. Donation

The $150 adoption donation* for cats and kittens is non-refundable and includes the following: --Full initial series of FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations; follow up vet exams will be scheduled for any remaining vaccines at the time of adoption. --FeLV and FIV testing. --Initial fecal testing; complete treatment until the animal tests negative. --Initial prophylactic deworming. --Spay/Neuter. --Microchip. --Feline Bartonella testing, treatment, and titration testing for all cats over 1 year old. *The adoption donation does not include pet insurance, additional testing, subsequent vaccinations or medical care after the animal has been adopted. Adoption fees vary for dogs and small mammals. Please enquire about a specific animal for more information.

After filling out an adoption application, you will be contacted directly by one of our adoption coordinators, Allie Tindall or Jenni Slininger, who will arrange a time for you to meet some of the cats and kittens available for adoption.

More about this rescue

Cameron Animal Hospital has been located on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, since 1936. The family-owned hospital is the first purposfully built animal hospital in the state of NJ, and provides veterinary services to cats, dogs, and other small animals, including rabbits, rats, ferrets, and more. Cameron Animal Hospital is not a shelter, but works extensively with the rescue community in Essex County by providing veterinary care to local shelters. While Cameron Animal Hospital cannot accept new cats or kittens, we are looking for forever homes for a variety of cats and kittens who live at our hospital.
