My name is DAYDREAM!

Daydream loves her routine in the daily ebb and flow of the shelter. At 9, she's been waiting for a home so long, she's been assigned our "penthouse," a little airconditioned, heated cottage with its own playyard. Inside, Daydream has 3 dog beds to choose from and a little area rug she keeps tidy. She waits in the morning for Mike, our large dog caretaker, to let her out and Daydream runs zoomies around her yard to greet him. She loves to go for walks on our trail, especially before the shelter becomes crowded and busy. She loves tennis balls and toys and Milkbone treats. She love babypools and would prefer to spend her entire summer crouched down in one, for maximum water coverage. In the evening, when we tuck Daydream in for the night, she sits in the window of her little house, watching as the sun goes down. We can see her little silhouette in the window, and we know what she's thinking. Daydream is thinking about home.
