My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ramsey was found as a pup and turned over to WARM along with his sibling, Raven.  Being a foundling, we can only estimate his breed.  He looks to have some Shepherd in him although he is full grown now and is not a large dog.  Ramsey is a lot of fun! He is playful, loving and so full of life.  He loves his toys-he will carry his bone around with him. He is a really sweet, sweet dog and a very gentle soul. He gets along fine with the other dogs!

DOB - Approx December, 08.

Additional adoption info

If someone is interested in adopting one of WARM's animals, an Adoption Application must be filled out. Our Adoption Specialist conducts a personal interview, references are checked and there is usually a home visit, especially if there are other pets in the home.

More about this rescue

Waccamaw Animal Rescue Mission, known as WARM, is a non-profit NO-KILL animal refuge. WARM rescues and rehabilitates wildlife, farm and companion animals. Companion animals are adopted to new loving guardians. Farm animals are adopted to small family farms and wildlife is returned to the wild away from human habitation. Those animals that cannot be released or are not adopted or adoptable, live out their lives at the WARM farm. Animals at WARM are euthanized only as the last resort - when their pain and suffering cannot be alleviated. All animals are given every possible chance for life. WARM is a local organization and operates totally on private donations and fund-raising events. It is not funded by city or county taxes or any national organization. WARM is dedicated to helping animals and is working hard to alleviate the suffering of the strays, the abandoned, and the abused. Saving lives is what WARM is all about.
