My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper came to CHS via another shelter. He is about 4 years old and is really a sweet kid and does well with other dogs...depending on the other dog. Cooper will not do well in a home with cats as he likes to chase them a lot. Cooper will need to have an experienced dog owner and someone who is going to be willing to give him a job and keep him on his toes at all times. We are not willing to put Cooper in a home with kids that are under the age of 16. He enjoys going on walks and running in his fenced in area playing with his people.

CHS is committed to finding the right matches for not only our pets but also our adopters. We have a unique approach to our adoption matching process. Our kennels are not open for the public to walk through, as this helps us keep our dogs as happy and comfortable as possible. Due to our commitment to being such strong allies for our pets, we ask that you please either call 503-397-4353 or email animalwelfare@columbiahumane.org before just showing up to meet our pets. We would like to take the time to get to know our adopters so that we can make only the best matches between you and your future new family member. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email animalwelfare@columbiahumbia.org
