My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Morgan. She is a 2-year-old Shepherd/Lab cross. She is long legged girl and she can run fast. She is energetic and just loves to be touched. She bonds deeply to her person and just cannot get close enough. She would make a great running partner and is athletic enough to keep a good pace. She loves people and other dogs. There is only one male she isn’t fond of in the rescue and he doesn’t get along with several other dogs. She gets along with all the other dogs that are male or female. She could be adopted as an only dog or go to a family with another dog. She isn’t too vocal and her best family would be an outdoorsy, active family. She weighs about 45 pounds. She is up on her shots, spayed and ready for her forever home.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

You will fill out an application. We will call references and your vet. Once complete we will do a criminal background check and interview you. We are then ready to set up a transport for you to receive your dog. The transport fee is 160-1850 for a ground transport to Washington. We also work with the airlines to fly dogs and have great rates to fly. We work out all the details of the transport so you will not need to worry about that.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are in Pipe Creek, Texas on an acreage. We will be using a transporter to deliver the dogs to New Jersey once they are adopted. We can let you speak to our Kennel Manager, Troy, who works with the dogs everyday. We also will provide the most current pictures and videos to help in your decision. Only the very best dogs will be transported.

More about this rescue

C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas once we find a great home.
