My name is Mac!

Mac is a 5 - 6 year old Chihuahua-Whippet mix with a lot of love to give to the right person willing to show him patience and assurance.  He is happiest spending all his time in a calm environment and being the center of his owners attention.  Mac is slow to warm up, but once you earn his trust he is very sweet and loyal.  While is house and crate trained, Mac seems to do best when he can look out a window or curl up in a quite spot in the house.  Mac is best suited to be the only pet in the house and with older considerate children.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
