My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“Welcome Alice! She is a Hairless Chinese Crested and is a puppy mill survivor. She is four years old. Alice is missing quite a few teeth, but she is SO CUTE. She loves to give kisses and has warmed up to the good life very quickly. She’s not too sure about the outdoors, but is bravely testing having grass under her feet. Gets a little grumpy if other dogs get too much in her face, but otherwise very sweet.

Additional adoption info

Anyone interested in adopting one of our pets will need to fill out our online adoption application found at our website: www.pncmidwest.org.

We have a process in which we check references you have provided us on your application and perform a home visit. An approved adopter will then need to sign an adoption contract and provide us with full payment of the adoption fee. All dogs are spayed/neutered and are brought up-to-date on all their shots before they leave our care.

It is extremely rare, but if, after all our efforts and yours, an adoption doesn't work out we ask that the dog be returned to us and we confirm that we will take the dog back providing a cushion for both.

More about this rescue

PNC Rescue is a small dog rescue organization made up of volunteers located throughout the Midwest area.

Our group is dedicated to the breeds of Pekingese and Japanese Chin, and our purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned, neglected and surrendered dogs. These dogs are provided with the attention, care and medical treatment necessary including spaying/neutering, until a permanent home can be found.

Our organization consists of volunteers and relies on public donations to provide medical treatment for the dogs in our care. 100% of all donations go to the benefit of the animals.
