My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here's a very special Lady. She's very sweet and loving. She loves to give big hugs. . She loves to ride in a golf cart or run with the cart. She is a fast runner and loves to show her stuff.
She has separation anxiety and needs to be crated if left alone. She is crate trained, and a covered crate helps her with the anxiety. She's also afraid of thunder and other loud noises. When she detects a storm coming, she will bring you her thunder shirt. In addition, she benefits from an all natural medication to calm her in stressful situations.
Her perfect home would be with a farm couple where she could be outside at will and come in for her loving. She enjoys playing with non-dominant dogs, most cats, and all kids. Soft-spoken and gentle-touch humans are her preference. She has lots and lots of love to give.Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and current preventatives for heartworm and flea/tick.

More about this rescue

Our small foster-based rescue's mission is to reduce and rid the number of animals killed in our area through education and promoting responsible pet ownership which includes spay/neuter, appropriate pet identification, proper pet care and the quality adoption and care of homeless pets.
We began operating as a 501(c)(3) in 2010 and in addition to adoptions, we offer low-cost spay neuter, microchip events, pet food to needy families, silver paws, critical care funding and a very successful TNR program.
