My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GINGER Shepherd mix, around 9 y/o. Very sweet and gets along with other dogs and cats. She has had a rough life and is looking for a new life and family to love her. She is available for foster to adopt as well. She is housebroken and has some age-related joint and arthritis issues.

Our rescued animals are placed in foster homes in the New York and Northern New Jersey areas. Our animals are also boarded in veterinary hospitals in the South until we can transport them to our NJ locations. We also have rescue partners in Canada.

More about this rescue

Paws on the Green, Inc. rescues animals on death row in local and rural shelters in the South. We are a New Jersey non-profit animal welfare organization that promotes the adoption of homeless animals regardless of age, breed or health condition. We strive to take the ones that other rescues and adopters leave behind either because the pet is senior, has a health condition or has a disability.

If you would like to foster one of our animals, please visit our website and click "How You Can Help". The foster application can be found there.
