My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hiiiiiiii!!! I'm Buddy. I made my way here in December of 2018 from a shelter partner in Tennessee. I am a very energetic pointer who needs an active household or someone who can give me all the enrichment I need for my mind! I love all the humans I meet, but little ones can be a little overwhelmed from my energy level and size. So unfortunately I would do best in a home with older children only. I love treats and I am SO eager to learn. I want a family to call my own, will that be you?

Additional adoption info

At the Delaware SPCA we employ a matchmaking approach to adoptions. This means we approve adopters based on the best fit for the animal and the family. If multiple families are being considered for the same animal, we will use our discretion to find the best fit. If the animal you are interested in has been adopted by another family, we would love to introduce you to another fabulous animal!

Please review our full adoption requirements at delspca.org/adoption-process to make sure you have the paperwork needed to adopt before coming to the shelter.
