Hi there! I am a work in progress. I am an extremely shy girl. My foster mom is working with me on learning to trust people. I am not aggressive at all. I just run and hide when I feel uncomfortable, which is most of the time. I like treats and come out to get them. I will gently take treats from my foster mom's hand. I've recently, started to let her scratch my back. But if it's not treat time I get very anxious and run if my foster mom wants to touch me. I do like my kitty friends here at my foster home. I do not like of dogs. I choose not to interact with kids. Again, not aggressive at all, just find a nice hiding spot. I do have some damage to my left eye, and can't see out of it, but can it doesn't seem to bother me or limit me. We highly encourage adopting kittens in pairs for their emotional and behavioral well-being. It is an amazing experience to watch the lifelong bond that forms and that you get to be a part of. We are not trying to push more kittens out the door. All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
