Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is deaf but she is very smart and learns hand signals very fast. i use a vibrating/shock training collar to get her attention for signals when shes running around and it works well. her previous owners did not know she was deaf and i think beat her for not listening so she had a horrible fear of toys but i think we are mostly over that and she likes to play a little now. she is a velcro dog and will stick to your side most of the time, i let her off leash a lot when safe

i gave her to my X in a divorce and she got locked in a room with another dog that use to attack her so now she is no longer friendly towards other dogs but i have been trying to re-introduce her while using a muzzle and its been going well but still needs work, she has issues with mainly black dogs. Lucy was listed as a health hazard for my kid in a recent custody battle so im finding a new home for her, she is a social dog so someone that isnt crazy busy would be best.

breeds are best guess
