I’m Looking For: Jackie loves people and is looking for a forever family to love her back! She has some energy that would benefit from mental and physical stimulation through frequent trips to the dog park or even doggie daycare so she can socialize with her canine friends! If her adopter works full time, Jackie will need a midday dog walker and is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in her doggie manners and be the best dog she can be!
What My Foster Says About Me: Jackie is a very playful dog, practically a puppy in an adult dog's body. She is such a sweet girl. She's fantastic with people, kids (although she play-bites/nibbles so not sure if she'd attempt that with young kids), and she had a riot playing with other dogs at the dog park. She does very well in the crate and doesn't bark or whine. She's getting the hang of her commands - a quick learner!
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any particular dog is housebroken. All our dogs are working on crate training.

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
