What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I got Leo at a shelter in Dallas 3 years ago I adopted him at 13 months so he is 4 years old. I lived alone with Leo in a1 bedroom apartment. He is a very sweet dog who knows basic commands. I only crated him at the beginning and then he was fine in apt. I started working 12-14 hour days and did not feel that was fair to him. I still walked him twice a day he is unpredictable around other dogs so I trained him to walk by other dogs but do not stop and let them greet. I moved to Minnesota 4 months ago and he developed separation anxiety. He does not like to be crated so can break out and then be destructive to doors and windows trying to get out to find me. I am back working long hours and he deserves a better quality of life. He would thrive in a home people were home more or better yet have a farm. I love Leo dearly he really is a sweet dog and it breaks my heart to have to give him up but I want what is best for him.
