My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Talea, sister to Trevi and Truman. She is the most shy and skittish but curious about what I'm doing. I will turn around and she will be sitting there watching me! Very pretty brown, black and white tabby with four white feet and a tiny blaze down her nose. She is playful and happy running around the house and getting into things. She just needs time and love (and a bit of chicken therapy!) to eventually be your special cuddler.

She is about 5 months old. In Chugiak. Call 960-0096

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $75 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 6 months are $125. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Go meet their pets

We have weekly adoptions fairs in Anchorage each Saturday and in Wasilla at the Wasilla Petzoo either Saturday or Sunday. Our cats are also available for adoption from their foster homes.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2013, we rescued and rehomed approximately 420 cats.
