My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duncan is a 2-4 year old beagle mix. He weighs 42 pounds. He is intelligent, inquisitive, gentle, calm and laid back. He is very quiet and seldom barks. He loves attention, being petted and full body rubs, but he is not a cuddler or lap dog. He's not much of a player; he just loves to do his own thing. He loves his walks, 2-3 hours or more daily. There is no aggression or guarding in this dog. He has very little interest in toys or any type of play activities. He is a wonderful, loving, appreciative, but not overly affectionate dog. He does have a high prey drive, so should not be in a home with cats. If you would like to meet Duncan, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $225.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees are $225 for dogs over 6 months and $250 for dogs 6 months and younger. This fee includes spay/neuter, rabies shot if dog is over 4 months old, parvo/distemper shots up to the time of adoption, fecal check, microchip, and all dogs are heartworm negative.

Rover Rescue is an all-breed dog rescue group located 40 miles west of Chicago in Aurora, IL. The dogs/puppies in our organization have been rescued from high-kill animal shelters located in Illinois and Indiana.
