My name is Jinxy!

Jinxy was a former resident of the shelter who was adopted and returned in 12/07. His family reported that he was a good pet, but that he started becoming agitated when he noticed neighborhood feral cats outside in their yard or up near the patio door. He would become so upset that he started attacking himself and pulling out his own fur. Since coming back to MCHS, he has been a good cat--very few issues with the other cats here at MCHS--and he is living here with about 100 other cats! We do feel he would be the happiest in a home without other cats. Other than this issue, he is very friendly and has absolutely beautiful fur and long white whiskers. He loves the attention of volunteers--especially brushing time! Please consider giving this guy a new home life! To see Jinxy or any of our wonderful cats at the shelter please come to one of our open houses, Tuesdays from 4:30 - 6pm or Sundays from 2 - 4pm. All our cats/kittens are up to date with shots, spayed or neutered, tested negative for feline leukemia/feline aids, and socialized. We adopt our cats/kittens to indoor homes only. Adoption fee is $50 which covers only a portion of our expenses in getting a cat ready for adoption. Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.
