My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Basil is one of nine dogs who came to us from a small hoarding situation in town. He appears to be a chihuahua mixed with some sort of wire haired breed. We think he's around 2 years old. Like all of the dogs from this household, he is very shy and unsure of himself. It does take a bit of time for him to warm up and learn to trust. Once he does, he's affectionate, playful, and a lot of fun. He has been fully vet checked and neutered and his fee is $125. Basil is looking for a patient, ADULT only home. Teens should be okay. He will require time and basic training.

Basil is very attached to his "brother" Barrett. We would love to see them adopted together. The fee for each dog, alone, is $125. For both, it is $200.

We are open on Saturdays from 10-11:30, Sundays from 2-4, and Tuesdays from 4:30-6. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport, behind Spectrum. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.
