My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jillian is a big girl with a lot of love to give. Jillian has never met a stranger and is hoping to find a family of her own asap. Jillian came to us from Chipley Shelter in the panhandle of Florida after being picked up as a stray. We think Jillian was well-loved in her previous home and we are not sure why no one came to reclaim her. Jillian has been fine with most other dogs, but probably would not do well with a large, dominant female. She is not cat friendly. Jillian has been around kids and seems to enjoy their company, attention and snacks!! Jillian is crate trained and housebroken.

Adoptions can be done same day at our local adoption events. Adopters can be preapproved for a pet by filling out the application on our website, https://faithfulfriendsrescue.org/ or by emailing us at FaithfulFriendsPRR@gmail.com!

We hold adoption events each Saturday at PetSmart (3736 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32608) from 11am until 5pm; we do not have a public facility. This is the time to meet our adoptables and potentially take home your newest Faithful Friend. Our adoption fees vary and are cash, card or Venmo but include spay/neuter, heartworm test (dogs), FeLV/FIV test (cats), age appropriate vaccines and deworming, flea, tick and heartworm medication and microchip. All of our adoptables are already spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Founded in February 2018, Faithful Friends Pet Rescue and Rehoming, Inc is an organization dedicated to rescue and rehoming of dogs and cats in need. While we are always happy for high adoption numbers, that is never our focus. Our focus is always the animals themselves - providing the best care for each animal in our program while we search for a loving, permanent home.
