Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Schroeder is a 6 month old male aussie out of two litters rescued from a puppy mill located in southern Minnesota. Schroeder is still very timid and scared, but he is working on learning how to be a house dog. Even though he's scared, he wags his little stub when he sees his foster family and enjoys being with people. He is working on sit, stay, and potty training. He has also developed a fun, playful relationship with his foster dog sister and she is showing him the ropes on how to be a happy dog outside too. He is good with the cats and the little kids in his foster home (1 and 3 years old), although he gets scared easily if these toddlers move too quickly. He will likely be over 50 pounds at maturity. These puppies came to us completely terrified and will need patient families to learn to live in our world. We require a fenced yard as they are flight risks. All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.org. All dogs have an adoption fee of $300 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family. Aussie Rescue of MN is here for support, advice and as a safety net for our dogs for the rest of their lives.
