My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Edna has been living in a foster home, so we have been able to learn more about her purr-sonality. Here's what her foster mom has to say about her:

Edna is a playful, affectionate, 4-year-old sweetheart. She loves to chase ribbon wands and toy mice around the house, but she's quick to curl up beside you on the couch and in bed. If you really want to win her heart, open a window or pull up the blinds so she can watch the world go by outside. Edna's energy and curiosity is contagious. She loves sneaking her way into small places, and she also loves following you around the house! Sometimes, she gets so excited that she'll run ahead and lead the way. If you're in a different room and Edna notices, she'll quickly abandon her toys and join you. It's impossible not to love Edna's friendly personality. She's inquisitive around new people and enjoys being right in the middle of the action. When you're petting her, she'll nuzzle your hand for more pets, as she loves head scratches and cheek rubs. She rarely meows but makes adorable trilling and chirping sounds. If you're looking for a cat that will both make you laugh with her bursts of energy and curl up beside you when she's sleepy, Edna is the cat for you.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

You are welcome to visit the animals in residence with us on a walk-in basis Tuesday through Saturday 10AM to 4PM. Sunday and Monday meetings are done by appointment only. Please feel free to call or email for an appointment to meet our adoptable pets.

The pets kept in residence are for the most part feline. If you are interested in meeting one of our canine adoption candidates an appointment must be made with their foster parent for a meeting.

We pride ourselves on offering one-on-one private adoption counseling. Once you have completed your adoption application (available at our front desk) an adoption counselor will contact you for a private interview.

Our adoption fees and requirements vary based on each individual animal's needs. We work hand-in-hand with our adoption clients and hand-in-paw with our pets to make the best adoption matches.

In spite of our efforts, we understand that sometimes relationships fail. If at any time an adopter needs assistance with their new family member or finds it necessary to return their companion animal, we will respectfully work with that client to determine the best outcome for the animal.
