The process includes a conversation, one-page application, one-page contract, and very reasonable adoption fee.

We do our best to place pets in LOVING, RESPONSIBLE, mutually appropriate homes. Any prospective adopter must meet the animal first. We prefer adopting within "easy driving distance" of Tahlequah OK, but occasionally make an exception. We do not ship animals.

Dogs have shots and broadtail vaccine, and are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked and microchipped!

Go meet their pets

We show shelter animals on Saturdays from 10:00 to noon, and weekday evenings by appointment. We show foster animals by appointment at an agreed-upon time and place.
