Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, my name is Clarice. I am a sweet 8-month-old husky mix looking for an active family to call my own. With the nice weather coming, if you are looking for a new furry friend, please come meet me. Because huskies are not the breed for everyone, I would like for my new family to have had one as a family member so they know all about me and my personality.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our volunteer, Kathy, at chattyz@hotmail.com or 816-752-2295. Thank you.

More about this shelter
The City of Cameron is partnering with the Department of Corrections program Puppies for Parole. In Cameron, we have Western Missouri Correctional Center and Crossroads Correctional Center that we work with for the Puppies for Parole Program . ( http://doc.mo.gov/DAI/P4P.php ) The dogs are shelter dogs from the City of Cameron that are viewed as hard to adopt because of socialization/behavior issues. The dogs are then sent for basic obedience training (Canine Good Citizen) where the learn basic obedience training along with being house trained and kennel trained. The dogs are then adopted out to loving families who are looking for a dog to add as a member of their family.
