Additional adoption info

Adoption Fees vary by animal and transport endpoint but average $400 (includes transport costs) for an adult animal. Our pups come fully vetted, all age appropriate shots, microchipped, dewormed, spay/neuter as well as with a Health certificate from our vet. We try to provide our adopters a personal view of our babies, with video, pics and conversation to help our adopters make a good decision.

We are mainly an out of state adoption program that saves dogs from San Antonio and rehomes them with forever families in the Pacific Northwest and/or New England area.

More about this rescue

Scurvy Dog Rescue SATX saves dogs from our local kill shelter and also from off the streets. San Antonio has a large stray animal population and we try to do our part to help homeless dogs find a forever home. We are a small home based rescue and do not have a shelter facility. We try to do our part by saving one dog at a time.
