Hello to my future furever family! My name is Robbie (or you can call me Rob). I am a handsome two-year old, 55-pound (70cm tall) bundle of love. My rescuers think I might be a Shepherd-Saluki mix; whatever breed I may be... I must say, I'm pretty dang cute!
What's my personality like, you might ask? Well, I am a super sweet, bubbly, friendly, outgoing, and gentle pup. It doesn't get better than that, eh? Oh I'm also 95% house-trained AND apparently I'm great on a leash! I'm pretty active and love being outside. Perhaps we could go for runs, long walks, or visit some doggy friends at the local dog park?
What's my story? I was found in an area of Bahrain called Adilya, where I was hanging out near a restaurant looking all sweet and lonely and oh so very hungry. My rescuer fed me some bread and then guess what? I followed her and jumped straight into her car! My kind rescuer took me to the shelter, where I have been ever since.
Although I'm so lucky not to be on the streets anymore, I long for a real home filled with love, cuddles, and maybe a nice soft bed. Could you be my furever family? I hear amazing things about the Canadian West Coast, oh how I'd love to travel there!
Although there is no video of me hanging out with cats or kids, my rescuer says that I'm a gentle boy and get along with every animal and kiddo that I meet.
I have been neutered, vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $550.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.
Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and to read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.
Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of the descriptions. Remember, every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person leading him and the environment. The age and breed of a dog is almost always an educated guess and at no time do we promise or guarantee the age or breed of a dog.
Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. More information can be found on our website.

As adopters of overseas dogs will be taking their dog home from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit.
