Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
From her foster: Clover Leaf is all kitten in a grown up, cuddly and cute body. She would rather play than cuddle, but spends many happy hours napping in the sun. She loves scratches under the chin, and when she is in the mood she will hide her head in the crook of your arm, turn on her motor, and ask for all the scratches! One thing about Clover Leaf is that she will (gently, but using her teeth) let you know when she is done getting pets, usually without a "meow" for a heads up. For that reason, she would do best with older, considerate children. She is in a home with an 8 year old and 10 year old.
Her foster kitty brother is very submissive, but Clover Leaf lets him know that SHE is in charge. Even though he was here first. She LOVES food and is extremely food motivated. You could probably use treats to teach her some fun tricks!
When she first arrived, she was shy for about a day and then took over as the queen of the castle. She will meow (LOUDLY) until she gets what she wants. She is absolutely the most fun little kitty, but there is more kitten in her than adult right now, which makes for nonstop play time! I imagine she'd love to be an only child, more because she doesn't want to share attention, treats, or food. She wants to be the center of attention and the star of the show. A true lioness!
She does fine with our cat, but will swat/hiss at him if he's doing something she doesn't like. As I mentioned, she wants to get her way all the time. She's swatted/nipped us when she's done getting petted but never hard enough to break the skin.
