Charlie is amazing! He is playful, cuddly, and SO SMART. This food motivated pup will do anything for a treat or piece of cheese. Still learning his manners since he's got some puppy energy. He will crawl in your lap for all of the hugs and pets. He'd make an awesome adventure buddy. Do you want to meet Charlie? A brief interview to discuss your application and interest in the pet. Interview with supervisor and Director may be required depending pet.

Our trained Adoption Counselors are on hand to help you through the process of finding the right pet. Please stop by and speak with one of our staff about our adoptable dogs or cats. You will then fill out an adoption application (ID is required), your application will then go through an approval process.

Adoption Fee:

Puppies (Under 7 Months):
$199.00 - $299.00 Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

Adult Dogs (7 months - 7 years old)
$99.00 - Includes spay/neuter,vaccinations and microchip.

Senior Dogs (7 years and older)
$49.00 - Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip

Kittens (Under 7 months):
$79.00 - Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

Adult Cats (7 months - 7 years old):
$49.00 - Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

Senior Cats (7 years and older)
$29.00 - Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

* Canine vaccines include DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies

** Feline vaccines consist of the FVRCP and Rabies.

Requirements for Adoption:

- Adoption Application filled out completely.
- Must be at least 21 with Driver's License or Picture ID.
- Dog introduction (your dog(s) must meet our dog)
- LPCHS staff member will contact landlord or see lease if you rent and if you are approved to have a pet in the home.
- Home inspection if interested in one of our "Special Needs" dogs.
