Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there, my name is Duke, and Ladies, let me tell you! I am the most handsome Dude you can find. I can be your protector, best buddy, running partner, snuggler whatever you want or need!
I have the lovey dovey personality of the Lab, the long legs of the Great Dane, and the protective bark of a Mastiff. Those are the genes I have in this glorious body of mine, with a stunning, gleaming and wavey black coat.
I love my kennel, it is my safe zone. I don't have accidents in the house, and will let you know when it's time for me to go outside.
I am getting good at walking on a leash, i don't usually pull. I am great with dogs, its takes me a bit with humans I am shy, but once i know I'm safe, I'm the most loveable dog you would ever meet.

All adoptions begin with an adoption application, available here or on our website (or from one of our wonderful volunteers in person). The application is reviewed by the adoptable animal's foster home as well as by the appropriate coordinator (canine/feline/small animal) to assess how the animal will fit in your home. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours, but being 100% run by volunteers sometimes we need additional time--if you haven't heard back after 48 hours, feel free to contact us to check in on your application.
All dogs and puppies have an adoption fee of $300, kittens under 6 months of age have an adoption fee of $250, and cats over 6 months of age have an adoption fee of $200, unless otherwise noted. Adoption fees help offset the cost to our organization of providing full medical care (including spay or neuter surgery) to each animal we adopt to a furever home.
