We, sadly, do not have much history on Nilo as he came to us after being found as a stray. Nilo's finders stated he likes pets all over, once he is comfortable in your home with you, playful and all around affectionate. From his time with us here we can tell you he loves playing with his human/s, he likes to hop into your arms if you are not giving him the attention he is requesting at that exact moment, and he has got the cutest little face! Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt.

Call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us (springfield@dakinhumane.org) for more information about a pet. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours.
All cat adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies vaccine
-current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-FeLV/FIV blood test
-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter
-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
