Bean Sprout is really a little miracle. She is about 2 years old and weighs just under 10 pounds. She is a Chihuahua mix with a hint of Italian Greyhound and Jack Russel Terrier. When Bean arrived in TX there was barely an inch of her skin that was not ravaged by a non-contagious mite called demodex and a horrible infection. Her paws were extremely swollen. she was very emaciated and weak. She was sweet and gentle throughout all of her initial treatments and vet care.
Bean's fur has fully returned and she is gaining weight. This girl lives now to play and run. She is very agile and looks like a pogo stick bouncing up and down in pure joy and excitement. When she gets on a silly mood, the whole house is laughing and having fun with her
She has been nothing but gentle and sweet with us this past month. She loves getting dressed up for the weather or special occasion.
She is kennel trained and knows that her place and name so well. She has gained SO much confidence in walking on a leash unless the snow is falling on her....with a little reset.. she is back up and prancing down the street.
She lives for treats and is a quick learner.
She is a huge cuddler and gives the best kisses. Give her a heated blanket and a lap and she will stay forever.
