Bertha, named after the patron saint of female illnesses, was rescued because she was bred to a much too large of a male dog AND then they were puilled forceibly separared by dumb humans. Her insides were hanging out for over two (2) weeks BEFORE the "owner who loved her"! came to us and said his dog was in trouble. Bertha has successfully gone through surgery and is recooperating well. She told us she does NOT want to go back to her old family! She has now been spayed and our vet has declared her "good to go". BERTHA WANTS ALL TO KNOW SHE HAS LEARNED TO "SIT" FOR HER FOOD!!
