This is courtesy post. Emma currently lives in Reno Area. Emma is a great dog in the right environment, very loyal to her family, protective, likes to play and fetch, travels well but does not do well in loud busy areas and around a lot of other dogs. Emma is worth the time to get to know and love, a beautiful dog that is excited to greet her family when they come home. Emma would be best in a rural setting (fenced) or large backyard. She alerts (barks) when she sees strangers or other dogs outside of her home. A very good watch dog. Emma likes routine, sleep in same location of home, eat at the same time. Visitors to the home need to know to ignore her at first and let her come to them.

Story
LADY N Female Parson Russell Terrier/ Basenji mix House trained Approx. 10 years old Good with pets and kids Lady is an adorable 10 year old Parson Russell Terrier and Basenji mix. She is sweet, loving, submissive and has a very cute face. She is extremely food motivated and will be by your side if you are anywhere near food. She takes a couple of days to warm up to you but once she knows who the provider of food is, she will be your best friend :) Lady has a mellow temperament and loves to relax. She is a slow walker and likes to stop and smell things as much as her heart desires. Walking might not be a priority for her but she needs it to lose the extra weight that she has gained over the years. She does not bark much and is good with children and other pets. She needs only a small space with a bed and she will sleep alone peacefully throughout the night. We call her little piggy because she loves food and makes these funny pig like noises while eating or sniffing :) Lady has a wobbly walk due to extra weight and sometimes loses her balance if not careful but she is very resilient and gets back on her feet quickly. Notes: 1. Vet thinks that she has a collapsed trachea which makes her cough once in a while but it is a manageable condition. Due to above condition, Lady needs to be walked with a body harness instead of a collar. 2. She has had accidents in the house and needs to work on her potty training. She is comfortable holding it in when she is confined to her kennel/playpen. Lady is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Meet Maxine, 2 years old girl. Enjoy being petting and hanging out with people. Maxine and Milla was around 4 months old when the hiker found them being abandoned in the mountain. The hiker took them out of wood and handed Maxine and Milla to the rescue group. Both pups are healthy, just a bit of malnutrition. The foster family take a good care of them. Now they are ready for their forever home. Maxine lives with her foster dad and Milla in Bay areas along with other dogs and cats. Maxine loves spending holidays with you and patiently waiting for her forever home.

Meet Momo, 2 years young girl. Momo was rescued from the shelter in Taiwan. She is a Formosa mountain dog. Momo is shy with people. The foster family is working with her to have her regained the confidence and trust on people. Momo gets along well with other dogs. As rescuers, we don’t know those dogs' past but we surely can rewrite their future. Momo lives in Bay areas currently. Please schedule an appointment to meet Momo. Momo is patiently waiting for her own place to call home.
