Very sweet, loving ENERGETIC 8 month old medium sized pup named Josie really needs a good home. She is super BUSY and requires attention. She gets along well with other dogs, both male and female and kids. I fostered her from a 9 week old pup until my circumstances no longer allow me to keep her. It's hard to let her go because she is so sweet. She sleeps with me every night! She is crate trained and 90% house trained. She will go outside as long as she has access. I can't emphasize how sweet she is. She is a lot of fun.

Story
Canela is a very sweet dog. We found her at the park and did not want to leave her, we ended up taking her in with our other two dogs. We took Canela to the veterinarian and she let us know that she is about 1 years old. Canela needs a loving home, she is a very calm girl. She likes to lay down beside you and watch tv, she also likes walks and is a good runner. She loves to take naps. Canela is also potty trained. She loves people. Canela is a very lovely girl.

Story
Goldie - or Munchkin as she's lovingly called - is a Basenji mix. We actually have no idea what breed she is, but it's the closest explanation for the curly tail! Ha! She was found abandoned with her 3 siblings living under a house at 5 weeks old. But she's a fighter through and through! You see, her siblings all left for homes in PA but she had to stay behind. Goldie has a condition called Congenital Lymphedema, predominantly in one of her hind legs. It's very rare, the specialist who saw her said he's been practicing for 24 years and has only seen 2-3 cases. After several consults, the vet feels confident that she's currently a happy, healthy, playful dog and her life expectancy is 2-3 years. Initially, she was on several medications to help manage swelling and pain, but after switching to all natural methods including Tumeric and CBD oil, she is now off all medications and doing INCREDIBLY well--pain free! We'd love for her to find a home where she can find that love and compassion for the 2-3 years she's got. She lives in a foster home today with other dogs and holds her own! She sleeps in her crate through the night and is house trained. If you think you're the person or family for Goldie, please let us know! Story
Meet Chevy!  Chevy is a sweet little guy who had been living on the street all alone until a Scout's Honor volunteer was able to help him. Chevy had been living under a truck for a while (it was a Chevy) while a Scout's Honor volunteer was working to gain his trust. He kept going every day to feed him and give him some attention. The business near where he was let him come onto their property and provided him some shelter.  Unfortunately, because there was a busy street nearby, sweet little Chevy got bumped by a few cars when he was out and about and lost a few teeth as a result.  Luckily, he did not sustain any significant injuries, and just needed to eat and get a bath.  Chevy is an awesome dog , loves other dogs and loves to play !  Chevy is a high energy dog, but is also very smart and alert. He needs A LOT of exercise and positive reinforcement, but will pick up very quickly on what you are teaching him. He would be a great dog for agility or flyball!!  As long as you keep him busy and challenged he will impress you with how well he can learn things. He just wants someone who will give him the direction, attention and structure he wants/needs. He would make a great dog for an active home with NO kiddos.  Kiddos are just too unpredictable for this guy.  He also needs a home that understands how to properly introduce him to new people and watch his cues.  Chevy can be very protective of his people and area, so proper intros are a must. True to his Kelpie breed, Chevy likes to herd and run and play .  Check out this VIDEO of him just having a grand time running - look at those turns!   Kelpie's are unique problem solvers and will find a way to do whatever he deems necessary.   Chevy fits these traits to a T, and anyone who knows and loves the herding breeds would just adore little Chevy!!  He's a real catch!!
