Story
We adopted Rae from the Lynchburg Humane Society as a three month old. We adopted a cat as well and they have been together since (same age). Rae spends a lot of time at the Pet hotel (Pet Cabana) because we travel frequently. The folks at Pet Cabana tell me wonderful things about her and yet, she doesn't do well with other dogs when we, the family (or maybe just me) are around. I wonder about her being very loyal/territorial that prevents her from accepting other dogs into the house/yard. She really needs an owner that will give her lots of exercise and a large enough place to chase squirrels (she hates them). She is really athletic, smart, stubborn and always on patrol. She loves our two kids and plays with the cat but does not like stranger, or strange men in particular. We are sad to have to rehome her but it would be best for her and us in the long run.
