Story
Darling Hazel is a tiny, muscle packed girl that loves everyone. With people, she is a gentle, affectionate girl that loves to cuddle. She also loves to spend time going on lots of walks and car rides. She is house trained and crate trained and after plenty of exercise, she can be easy going when it’s time to relax. She is also very energetic so she’s always ready for a run or jog at just a moments notice. Hazel has not been socialized with other animals so she’s still learning to walk and run past them without barking. She must have an experienced owner that can help her continue learning socialization skills. She must be the only animal in the home. Hazel must have a 6ft securely fenced backyard and kids must be over 12 yrs old

Story
I adopted Droopy in October of 2018 in Oregon. He is estimated to be 5 or 6 years old, when I got him from the shelter, he was an abandoned dog. Someone pushed him out of a van onto the sidewalk, and a kind stranger brought him to the shelter. I adopted him 2 days after he was turned in. He is an amazing dog, very sweet, loves to cuddle, and spends a good amount of time sleeping every day. I walk about 3-6 miles with him every day, so his new owners should be ready to spend time walking him. He is dog reactive, so he will need an owner that is ready to spend a lot of time and money on training. He is potty trained, I have never had a house accident since I got him, but he is not crate trained. He has moderate to severe separation anxiety, so leaving him alone is possible, but causes him a lot of anxiety. This is another area he will need a lot of time spent on training. If you're looking to adopt him, you should be ready to put in some work, but also reap a lot of rewards from it.

Welcome Jax. He is 3.5-year-old Basenji / Chow. He has a Chow Personality. He is an independent dog and very comfortable entertaining himself. He is about 75 pounds and will make a nice companion on walks, hikes or runs. He loves his kennel and keeps it clean. He was in a home prior to coming to us and was potty trained. He needs to be with a man or a couple without kids. There must have been some rough handling in his past with his collar so he is very particular about how his collar is handled and likes you to handle it slowly. Brisk movements around his collar from behind him surprising him make him be defensive. He is very food motivated so all you need to do is show him a treat and he will do what you are asking. He has nice long legs and a very bushy and full coat so he would be perfect in the more northern climates. He would be great for a couple who want a companion dog make them feel safer. He is not a big barker but very inquisitive and observant. He loves being in the yard and doesn’t try to climb or dig in the yards we have. He is currently in Texas waiting for his forever home. His adoption fee is 180 and transport is 185. He is a wonderful dog and with the right family will make a nice companion.
