Buster is a lovable and playful seven year old guy who is full of life and energy. He is looking for that forever someone who can provide a safe and loving home. Found starved and alone, it soon became clear to us that he had also been abused, emotionally. This charming Basset Hound has had extensive training since his rescue and follows both verbal and visual commands. He uses a dog door and can be trusted alone in the house.Buster's favorite activities are cuddling and walking with his squeaky toys. His foster Mom will share every detail about him if you're interested in learning more. She has worked very hard with his training and although he loves people, he will need to be an only dog in his forever home. Trust us when we tell you that he’ll make it up to you; loving and cuddling enough for two or even three hounds worth!

This charming pair has been together for three years; since Shelby was born.Adopting them would be like having the best of both worlds. If you have another younger dog in your home, Shelby would be happy to have a playmate! Sadie, being more mature, would love to sit on you lap (or any comfy place) and just hang out. They totally love each other but are good with the other hounds in their foster home. Won’t you consider giving this bonded pair a home?

She enjoys the dogs in her foster home and also the company of her foster mom and Dad. Rhonda will make a lovely addition to a family. She is house trained to use a dog door.

Here’s Buster! A laid-back five and a half year old, who gets around just fine, even though he's lost one of his eyes. We’re fairly sure it was because of an injury which could be why he’s a bit sensitive about having the top of his head touched. He's not one for being cuddly. We feel Buster would be happiest as an only dog; possibly one other dog in the home but that children may be too much for him.We’ll keep Buster happy, safe, and well-loved for as long as it takes for him to find his forever home. We believe there’s a perfect one out there!

She’s a very quick study and her foster mom has taught her to get quiet when she asks her to. Patches gets along really well with everyone in the house, two- and four-legged, alike. She loves toys and is house trained to use the dog door. This sweet little girl would make a lovely addition to your family!
