Spayed or Neutered,
Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Very playful, VERY LOVING. Wants to please human. Listens. Responsive. LOVES to cuddle/be scratched. Would be good for small/middle age kid—over 6 years old due to hyperactivity. Curious. Loves chasing bugs—so funny to watch!! Quirks: she is unsure of vinyl/tile floors, slips, gets scared. Will avoid some areas. Timid sometimes (acts as if she’s in trouble a lot, which she’s not been) Sometimes is restless/unsettled Jumps up (needs some training) Fast eater (possibly needs slow feeder to help slow her down) She’s a great dog! She wants to do right and she tried really hard. If Allegra sounds like the girl for you and your lifestyle, please read info below regarding adopting. Story
Marlee is a precious beagle girl who was saved from a local shelter. She had horrible flea dermatitis and a dislocated hip. Her skin is being treated and is healing nicely and she will be undergoing surgery the first week of September to repair her hip. Marlee doesn’t let anything slow her down. She romps and plays in the yard right along with all the others. She loves to run outside and to sunbathe. She’s great in the house and great. She’s good with dogs, cats and kids. She’s utd, hw negative (tested below detectable levels) and spayed. All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. We also have full-time jobs and Families. We will try to answer all questions and applications in a timely manner. Please be patient and bear with us . Do not contact Parkway Animal Hospital as they are a vet clinic and can not answer questions on behalf of Wags and Whiskers. All questions and comments must go directly through the rescue.
