Sweet female hound of some sort dumped or lost for a while. Doesn’t potty in the crate I put her in so possibly house broken. Doesn’t know any commands yet but seems like she could easily learn with treat training. I will not keep her past Tuesday 08/20/2019

Story
Buddy is a former stray. He wondered up to me in Van Buren about a year and a half ago and has been with me ever since. He is an assumed Walker/Beagle mix. He is fixed. He is around 3 years old. He is high energy. We have to keep him in a fenced yard because he will chase raccoons up trees and not come back home until he is ready (which seems like never🙄). He needs a lot of TLC (Reassurance) and preferably be an only dog because he does tend to hog food. Being an only dog is not mandatory, but it will be an issue to address. He isn't aggressive, but will push other dogs out of the way. He just needs a better fitting home. I absolutely love him, but he deserves better than the fenced life that he is living now, and I cannot give it to him. I can answer any questions you have and will gladly provide pictures or videos if needed.

Raf is around 6 months old and he is a very playful and sweet dog who has never been aggressive towards anyone or any other dog. The reason I am putting him up for adoption is that I will be going to medical school next fall and figure it would be best to put him up for adoption while he’s still young. He is potty trained for the most part and knows tricks such as shaking your hand and laying down.

Bambi is settling in nicely. She checked out healthy at the vet today. We are guessing to be beagle/hound mixes, about 14-15 weeks old. She is a good puppy in her crate and love to play with other dogs. She is a little shy at first and we think she will do best going to a home with another dog, unless, of course, she gets adopted with her brother. The adoption fee is $150. AWR will cover the cost of all puppy shots and their spay/neuter.
