Story
Toby was born approximately 2017. He is a good size, not too small, not too large at 24 lbs and long legs. He is very sweet and loves to snuggle. He was rescued from the shelter as a stray picked up by the shelter. He was presumably hit by a car as he had broken both bones in his front leg. We had our surgeon repair his leg and he is healed and ready for his forever home. Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet. Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm at R and R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends. Please email (staff@arvsimi.org) ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.

Diego is from Tijuana Mexico. I spotted his story on facebook and immediately knew I had to help him. His owner had tossed him out to live on the streets because he had a large tumor on his neck. He was scared and skinny until my good samaritan friend spotted him and took him to a local vet. Diego spent several months at the clinic getting chemotherapy. I was able to pay for his medical care and boarding until he was ready to cross the border. He's looking for a forever home that can give him all the love and attention he deserves.

Bono has been a loving member of our family for the last 4 years. We inherited him from our neighbor who passed away. He is a cuddler and loves a good back rub and belly rub. He loves to play with other dogs of all sizes. He's very gentle with everybody but his tale is strong. He loves to sing along to U2 hence the name Bono. My soon to be step daughter is allergic to pet dander so unfortunately I won't be able to keep him. Bono is the best. You will never find another more loving dog. He has all the best characteristics of both a beagle and great Dane. I'm going to miss him terribly...

We rescued this adorable 4-1/2 year old (as of April 2020) boy and he is looking for his forever home. He is dog friendly, but does need to be the only dog in the home and he is looking for a home without small children. Hurry in to meet him today!
