Story
Bee is an 11 year old Beagle Mix. We adopted her 3 years ago from Roice - Hurst Humane Society in Grand Junction, Colorado. When we adopted her I was working at a doggie day care center so she came to work with me and we were always together. We have just moved back to Longmont Co for a great work opportunity. Bee has become very attached to me and barks non stop if I leave her at home. Due to the high cost of living, we're with roommates at the moment, so leaving her at home alone is not an option due to us not being able to have our own four walls. We have tried everything but we are just not equipped financially to give her the house she deserves. Right now I am not working due to this and we just cant afford it any longer. She is an AMAZING dog, loyal, gentle, calm, loving. We have a cat, she doesn't mind him, if he walks up to her she just walks away, same goes for other dogs. We are looking for someone who has time for her and a house she can bark in without disturbing others.

Story
I got Titus at 19, and he was my buddy for years. He’s always been a little needy, but at 19 I wasn’t experienced with animals or training, and I wasn’t raised with any pets. 5 1/2 years laters and now I am married and have my first kiddo. Titus is amazing with the family, but he is not getting the time and attention he needs. He loves to be cuddled, loves to be with people at ALL times, and he would probably do best in a house where it’s solely him. It physically distresses him to be left alone, and when he is left alone, he can’t help but become self destructive to himself and things near him. It puts him in anxiety to be kenneled during the day and the night, but because he feels he is not getting enough of our attention, he acts out. I’ve talked to vets and trainers and I do not have the financial means to get him the training he deserves. Vets advised against anti anxiety medicine for him. I’ve tried several methods and it breaks my heart but Titus needs a home that can help him.

Story
No, Toby is no Dalmatian, but Toby needs a home just the same. He appears to be a cross between a beagle and a wired haired breed, maybe Jack Russell? In the fall of 2016, Toby's mom's health began to fail severely and he could no longer stay with her. In early January, his mom passed away and one of her last requests was that Toby find a fabulous forever home and we want very much to fulfil that final wish. Toby had been a great companion for his mom and did live with cats and dogs in the past. Today, Toby is in Centennial where he goes to the dog park most days and romps with a cute little Dalmatian in his foster home. He loves attention, is good in the house, uses the dog door and will sleep in a crate but he doesn't figure he needs to. And he likes car rides too. Toby has been adopted before but it was not a good fit for him. He needs patience and understanding or he can become defensive. For more information, contact Tori at Torystori@gmail.com. Adoption $100.  If interested in this dog, please go to www.dalmatianrescueco.org and submit an application for adoption. Under Adoptions, please read our adoption policy.  We must have an application before we can begin the adoption process and each dog does have foster contact listed.

Story
Abe is an old beagle (13 years) who is in good health for his age. He loves to be around people but is sometimes aggressive when it comes to food. Recently he has seemed to forget his house training and is peeing in certain corners of the house. Needs someone who can dedicate the time to helping him in his old age. Overall a very sweet dog, although not great around kids when there is food involved. We simply aren't home enough to let him out every time he needs to pee and a life in a crate seems cruel. Looking for a genuinely better situation for him. He is not in danger of going to a pound etc., but we want a better end to his years than sitting in a crate.

Story
At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary, but all include spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccinations and deworming, rabies vaccine at the time of spay or neuter, and 30 days of pet insurance. We also cover hernia repair and cherry eye repair at the time of spay or neuter. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##592228##
