Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beautiful Lacey is a sweet very sad senior dog.  She had owners since she was very young and sadly had to be surrendered to Pet Rescue by Judy due to her owners being in a nursing home now.   Their daughter in law surrendered her to us and did not have much information to share.  She loves to go outside for walks and be near her owner.   She is not a fan of crates.   Lacey does need to be on ID low fat dry food and we do mix it with ID low fat wet.  If anyone is interested in opening up their hearts and home to Lacey please put an application in.  She is in a foster home at this time. Lacey is a very sweet girl and does not like being alone.    She needs to be in a home with somebody around most, if not all, the time.   She is on medication for her anxiety so any potential adopters need to be aware of the cost of daily meds as well as her current food which is available through the vet.   The vet did say she needs to lose 4 to 5 pounds.  She is housetrained and sleeps through the night.   She loves being outside.    She has some lumps and bumps, but  her recent bloodwork was good.    She has an area on her back paw that needs to be watched so that she does not lick at it but that seems to be tied in with her separation anxiety.    Her bark is the typical hound bark/bay so would do best in a single family home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Adoption UPDATE! *NO EVENTS WILL TAKE PLACE AT PETSMART UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE* With the COVID 19 situation currently going on, we will be doing our adoptions differently for everyone's safety.  Please follow our FB page https://www.facebook.com/SALpetrescue/ As it will be the ONLY way to see and adopt from us this week.  Pets CANNOT be adopted prior nor do we hold pets. The websites (PETFINDER/ADOPTAPET, ETC) are updated by Wednesday evening of each week. Please follow the FB page for any information on new pets that will be available.  Everything will be posted to the wall. No clicking needed. I will be posting roughly 5-10 pets daily. PLEASE follow the Facebook for updates. Rough start time is NOON. Per comments and adopter availability, I will be sending a single adopter in for a specific adoption appointment time.  (PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT YOU WANT TO ADOPT IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COME ADOPT THE DAY OF POSTING).  Potential adopters will have given times they must be present and will have roughly 20 minutes to make a decision. Please understand the pets will have just been neutered and each adopter has a full 24 hours with the pet at home.  I will be sending all adoption contracts through email PRIOR to sending someone in to adopt.  I ask that you PRINT, fill out and bring the form with you. DO NOT email it back.  All adoption donations are cash donations only. $320. All pets come with a minimum of 2 sets if vaccines, flea. heartworm prevention, 2 de wormings and neutered. We also provide a free office exam and fecal. (Reccomended clinic) I want to personally thank everyone for their understanding and patience during this trying and difficult time.  We will continue to help save as many pets as possible while also striving to keep our adopters safe. Please text Anna at 407.952.1037 for any questions.

Story
I bet you clicked on me because you were like, “What?! That’s not a Husky!” You’re right! But stay here for a minute and learn a bit about me. My name is Honeybear. I am a beagle mix and I am five years old. I am silly and affectionate. I have a bit of separation anxiety, but can you blame me? Some might say I am a bit needy, but I just want all the love and security I can get. Do you love to cuddle? Because I do, and I’ll make sure you’re never lacking in cuddles ever again! I am good with other dogs, good on a leash, crate trained, and housebroken… man oh man! My resume is lookin’ pretty good! Now I just need a loving family to complete my life. I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and patiently waiting for the new love of my life. Adoption fee is $325 Apply at www.HuskyhavenFl.org
