Story
*Currently off site, please apply to meet me!*Hello! My name is Ninya and I am a spunky 54lb, 4yr old beagle, hound, & lab mix. I came to the shelter as a stray. It`s ruff being at the shelter for almost 100 days, but I`m still a fun-loving girl who enjoys playing with toys, zoomies, and leaning in for snuggles. I`ve perfected my head tilt which I use to get lotsa treats. I also know sit and shake. If you`re looking for a friend to make you smile everyday, I`m definitely your girl! The staff here describe me as `super friendly and sweet`, and I have to agree because I love to lean in to get pets and scratches. I enjoy going on walks to explore the great outdoors and sniff all the different smells. It is unknown how I will do with other dogs, cats or children, but slow introductions are always best for me to learn others. I am guaranteed to make you smile! *Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. *Click on the adoption application link, enter your information, and click submit. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision. Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our FABULOUS PETS! We hope to see you soon, The IACS Adoptions Team.

Story
GIGI IS IN A BONDED PAIR WITH JACK AND THEY MUST BE ADOPTED INTO THE SAME HOUSEHOLD Gigi came to Waldo's as an owner surrender with her brother, Jack. A 7-year old Jackabee (Jack Russell/Beagle mix), Gigi is most at home on your lap getting cuddles. She loves to be the center of your world and have all your affection for herself. Gigi is good with kids and other dogs, but cats are not recommended. She has plenty of spunk and her drive to please is strong. She is food drive and learns quickly, however her breed does tend to be driven by her nose, so she needs a strong leader in her pack. At a compact size under 20lbs, she would make a great traveling buddy and does well in the car and on a leash. Gigi is spayed and microchipped and ready to move on to her next adventure! A physical fence is a requirement. GiGi would do ok with kids but can be a bit reserved, so maybe not really small children. Adoption fee for the pair is $300 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application. One can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org

Story
JACK IS IN A BONDED PAIR WITH GIGI AND THEY MUST BE ADOPTED INTO THE SAME HOUSEHOLD Jack came to Waldo's as an owner surrender with his sister, Gigi. A 7-year old Jackabee (Jack Russell/Beagle mix), Jack loves to explore and be in the center of it all. His ideal home would be a family that would include Jack in their activities. He does well with kids and other dogs, but cats are not recommended. Jack can go from 0 to 60 at the drop of a hat - running around the yard chasing his foster siblings to crashed out on the couch next to you or in his favorite bed. Jack is smart and easily trainable and with the nose of a beagle, needs a strong leader to show him the way. Jack is around 20lbs, neutered, microchipped and ready to find his new family! A secure physical fence is a requirement. Jack is great with kids! Adoption fee $300 for the pair The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application. Story
2 year old Levi, a beagle/treeing walker coonhound mix, is such a good boy! He loves other dogs and seems happiest when he’s exploring & playing chase with his canine companions. Levi comes to check in with his people periodically but then he’s off & running again. He’s an active guy but is polite when interacting with humans; he never jumps or claws. Levi has a great temperament and easily shares food & toys. At 30 lbs, he’s a great size ... not too big or too small. His ideal home will have another playful dog and a fenced in yard. Levi’s adoption fee is $200; he’s neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations as well as monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Applications are available at waldosmuttleycrew.org .

Story
Oh, my goodness!!! Would you look at that face? You can't help but want to scrunch up all those folds & wrinkles! But Jethro Tull doesn't mind! He loves attention! He's a 5-6 year old basset hound/beagle who's as snuggly as he looks. Jethro is great with other dogs as well. He's pretty low energy as he has more of a basset hound personality but he does get a bee in his bonnet on occasion and race around with his doggy pals. He doesn't howl or bark; he's very quiet and easygoing. Jethro has tested positive for heartworms and is undergoing treatment. If adopted prior to completing the treatment regimen, we will continue to pay for his vetting for the heartworms until all is complete. He'll get his first injection around Nov. 20th and will have his final two injections a month later. Jethro is an absolute joy and whoever adopts him is going to be very lucky!!! Jethro's adoption fee is $200; he's neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
