Story
Rio is a 7 yr old beagle mix. He is a very sweet dog. We adopted him about 6 months ago from a kill shelter (out of town) He was skiddish at first, but after a few weeks, he started to come around. He loves to go for walks, he likes to play fetch & loves loves loves to cuddle! (He's a bed hog, too!) 😆 Rio does ok with other "female" dogs, but has been known to be a bit snippy with other males. Rio also doesn't want cat's around. (He will chase them, every time) He's been great around our kids & grandkids (no issues there) We just have to rehome him bc of my husband's health issues! (leg amputation) If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! 😊

Story
Benji is a 3 and a half year old Beagle. He is taller than a normal sized Beagle, so we do think that he is mixed with another breed, but in terms of his traits he is predominantly a Beagle. We got him at 8 weeks, our "first born" as we like to call him, and then at his 12 week check-up we found out that he is completely blind in his left eye and that he has poor vision in his right eye. About 2 years ago he also started having seizures, so he is on medication for that. In general, he has special needs and requires a lot of attention, but besides for that he is a loving and placid dog. Due to his needs and us having a young baby, we are not able to give him all the attention that he needs, and therefore he acts out by being destructive from time to time. He has recently been acting out and we are unfortunately not able to give him our all anymore. We would love for him to be with someone who can cater to his needs and give him all the attention and love that he deserves.
