Hazel is a really good dog. She is high energy, but also loves to snuggle. She will sleep in the kennel, but prefers the bed. When she is told to go to the kennel, she usually runs in there. (Gets small treat reward). She also goes to the bed if told to. She usually sleeps from 9pm to 7am, goes outside and then likes to snuggle on a lap for awhile.She is 100% potty trained. She is uses a bell hanging on the door and she rings that when she needs to go outside. She eats puppy chow which I put out in the morning. She loves veggies like carrots and small tomatoes. They are safe for an occasional treat (but put up your cherry tomato plants this summer - she will sneak them - ha). She loves people so much, so she acts a little crazy when you first come around. She gets so excited to see everyone - definitely not guard dog material. She took a puppy class, so knows sit, stay, and lay down. When you say "walk" she goes to door and lays down for her leash. She still pulls when walking (Beagle Corgi style), but we are working on that. She is controlled by her nose on walks. In the car she is used to a car seat, but is outgrowing that, and will do well with car leash. She needs a fenced yard. She Loves other dogs and does really well with my daughter's dogs - a large mutt and a Boston Terrier. She REALLY loves kids! She has been around children ages 2+ and does fine. She would be perfect for a family or young person who will play with her and walk or can even take her running. She LOVES to play fetch. She has not been around cats. She doesn't bark a lot, but when she does it is a cute little yodel. She is a beagle/corgi mix, smaller than most beagles. Very sweet girl.Hazel's adoption fee is $500. She is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, monthly preventatives, and is microchipped.
