All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.

We are needing to rehome our Beagle. We took her off the hands of a family friend and sadly she is not a good match for our family. She is sweet and loving all she could use in this world is scratches and a couch to sleep on. We would feel more comfortable with her going to a home with a relaxed schedule so she’s not alone so much. She’s great with our 1 year old, dogs, and cats. Sadly our home is too active for this sweet girl— if you’re ready for a couch potato she’s your prefect match!

My dad adopted Alex around 8 or 9 years ago as a puppy. Alex loves to be outside and does get along with other dogs. He does spook easily. As a pup he fell into a pool and got caught in the trap so is not fond of standing water. Alex is a sweet, pretty relaxed little guy unless he is on the hunt. He does live with another beagle.

Lexi is a great dog. She does well with kids and gets along great with cats. Dogs are questionable, she has been around them but is protective of her people. She likes to cuddle and is great at taking baths, which is great because she loves being outside. She's fast and very agile, medium-high energy. Her birthday is October 6, 2013. For a very long time she has been one of my best friends. We have been through a lot together. Because of my life situation, I'm failing at being a good pet parent for her. She needs and deserves someone better than me. It would be great if she went to a home with someone who can make sure she gets her exercise, lots of yard with a tall fence (she can and has jumped a 4ft fence before) or an outside chain. She loves being outside, I've kept her on a chain before so she is used to it. I also made sure she wasnt outside for long when it was hot or too cold. She likes to play with kids, especially fetch with a rope toy.
