Story
Copper came into our house 3 years ago. We wanted a second dog because one of our previous dogs passed away they year prior and our other dog was lonely. We rescued him from a friend who found him on their porch. He wasn’t completely adapted to living in a house so we believe he used to be a hunting dog who lived in a kennel. Since we’ve had him we realize that we can not give him the exercise that he needs. He is soo sweet and could cuddle and give attention for hours. He doesn’t lick, he jumps up a little and runs away if not chained up. He would love too meet you and snuggle on your lap. Needs a forever home

Story
Cole has come back to us in search of a particular home where he can rest his weary bones. This senior guy needs a little beacon of hope and light to put some spirit back into his eyes. Cole has a hard time adjusting to anything but shelter life. In his last home he tried his hardest to adjust but it was hard for him. He needs a family that will be patient with him because he has accidents. With that being said he needs a retired family, couple, or just someone that is home a lot of the time. He has anxiety and takes meds for it. He is Lyme positive so as he gets older his joints will hurt more. So walks , short as they maybe will beneficial in places where other dogs do not seem to go. A fenced in back yard would be ideal instead of walks. He has sensitivities to foods and can have skin allergies. He could use a diet even though this guy is food motivated. Lean treats in succession is best. Last but not least he needs to be the only animal in the home. He doesn't like to share his time with other animals. Just wants to be with his humans. Despite all that has been said Cole is a good boy. Just like humans not all of us get along so why would we expect the same in animals. One thing I can say about Cole is he loves his people big or small and would do anything to prove that love if only given a chance. If you think you would like to meet Cole and give him a home come and meet this special boy.
