Story
Daisy is a young dog that is a work in progress. She was given to a 92 year old woman by a granddaughter when Daisy was about 2 months old. As she grew up there was no training or playing learned at all. When her energy level kept growing it was determined she needed a new home before the elderly owner was hurt from a fall. Daisy is now learning how to play with other dogs, learning commands and trying to just be a young pup learning proper doggy behavior.  She wants to please.  She just never got the training every young pup needs. She is going to be a great dog for someone that will work with her on commands and help her continue to grow as a dog.   DOB 1-11-19.  Daisy is a beagle mix. Meet Spence. Spence is a 5 mouth old Beagle mix who came to us from Southern Ohio with his brother. They were found as strays & were neglected. Spence is now all healed up & ready for his forever family. He is a spit fire of a pup, loves to play, romp around with other pups, and loves food. He is crate trained, dog friendly. She is looking for someone who can spend more time with her to become more open and realize the outside world isn’t as bad as she thinks. She loves to play with other dogs her size or larger and MUST have another dog sibling. She also requires a fenced (attached to house) yard due to being a flight risk in a new environment. She is working on perfecting her house manners. She has never messed inside unless there was an abrupt change in food. Oh! Hello! My name is Fletcher. I am around 3 years old and weigh 30 pounds. Like a typical beagle, I love to sniff and wander around. Don’t let my small size fool you, I have a huge heart and would love to be a part of your family. I am accepting of other animals, as I am good with cats, kids and other dogs. I love running around in the backyard and take in all the smells while my ears flap in the wind. Did you say CAR RIDE? I make the best travel partner! Squeaky toys are the best. I can go from spunky to cuddly within minutes. I get the zoomies from time to time and love to roll around. My foster parents think I’m goofy and they say I make them laugh a lot. I sure do love my crate and already know how to sit. I love treats which makes learning new tricks so much fun! I am mostly potty trained as well. Meet Roxy Rae! She is a 6-7 year old beagle/dachshund mix and she weighs about 24lbs. She came from a hoarding situation so she is a bit shy around humans, but she is warming up quickly! Roxy has the cutest little smile and she just wants to be around you, she is definitely a Velcro dog! She is sweet as can be, very laid back and is perfectly content as long as she has a comfy place to sleep! She gets along well with other dogs, she is crate trained, house trained, enjoys baths, and did we mention how much she loves to nap?! She does well on car rides and is working on walking on a leash and basic commands and she is doing great. Roxy would be perfect for someone living in an apartment or condo, she’s very quiet and has not yet barked since we’ve had her. We feel Roxy would prefer a quieter home that will be patient and work with her to help her gain confidence and continue to open up!
