Story
Lacy came to our home about 10 years ago. She is aging, and developing some health issues, which so far can be controlled with proper food and regular vet appointments. She is loving and calm, but does tend to bark at unusual noises. Her nose is always to the ground outdoors (the beagle in her) and she has to be on a leash. She has been a very good house pet, but due to some of my own health issues and our current situation, I have decided to try finding a loving, caring home for her where she can receive the attention and companionship she needs. Since she is an older dog and doesn't appreciate a lot of attention from small children (it stresses her), I would prefer someone retired or with older children who will pay attention to her, but not "pester" her. I just want a home for her remaining years where she can be happy.

Story
Dutch is a 3 year old beagle who loves the outdoors. He's in his glory when he can sniff for bunnies. It's his favorite thing to do. He loves going on car rides & walks. He's good with other dogs, people, and little kids too. He's very smart so he needs a fence that is partly buried, because he's a digger, and also ATLEAST 4ft, because if he can jump to the top he'll climb right over it. He loves toys, is great at fetch, likes to be chased and play tug of war. He's around 30 pounds, or he was before winter, we haven't been getting out as much. It's been a terrible decision to give him up, he's my cuddle/hiking/camping buddy, but most days I'm gone 12 hours for work, and he loves to run and be outside far too much for his current lifestyle. He would love a home where he can run. He's a noisy little guy and has the usual beagle stench problems.His manners need some work but are improving and there are a few behavioral issues I'm worried about, but he's such a loving dog 99% of the time.
