Story
Damion is a lovely boy who is starting to age. He is currently 8 or 9. We got him from a relative who got very sick and couldn't care for him. Before we got him his previous owner's adult children were supposed to care for him, but he was instead locked in a room for most of his life. He now has separation anxiety unfortunately. My parents will be moving and I alone cannot afford to take care of him on my own. Damion gets very attached to his owners. He has a very even temper and is great with kids, cats, and dogs. He would prefer to be the only dog, so he can have all the attention. He loves having a lot of room to roam and sniff because he does have that beagle nose. He loves trips to the dog park and lying around. He loves his stuffed animals. He doesn't destroy them, just carries them around and grooms them. Help me find my sweet old man a good home

Please contact Judy (paxtonj@live.com), (865) 300-8146 for more information about this pet.Roscoe is an adorable seven year old beagle.  He is about 30 lbs. and very healthy.  He enjoys being outside almost as much as he enjoys cuddling.  His owner is very ill and can no longer take care of him.  He has been loved,  spoiled, and taken care of in every way and it shows.  Roscoe is super sweet and happy.  Roscoe gets along great with humans and other animals.  He has good house manners and is used to a fenced yard.  He loves to go for walks and rides in the car.  He just charms everyone that he meets.  Roscoe does not like to be left alone in the house.  He will howl for hours.  He needs a home with retired or stay at home family member(s).  Roscoe is up-to-date on vetting, heartworm free, and on flea and heartworm preventive.  If you would like to meet Roscoe, please contact Judy at paxtonj@live.com or 865-300-8146.  Adoption fee is $150.  Adoption application online at www.almosthometn.org.

Sweet Papaw came put of a local shelter afraid, thin and looking poorly. we think he had always lived outside. Hes thrived in foster care! Hes now housebroken and crate trained. Papaw is very happy with creature comforts and snuggles. Hes affectionate and very loving Papaw is hood w kids, dogs of all sizes and cats. Hes healthy now and hes heartworm negative. Story
We took Duke in from a family who could no longer care for him due to having a baby. We have two other dogs that we have raised since they were puppies. Duke can get along with them, but sometimes he tries to be overbearing and one of our dogs went through some trauma last year of which we are trying to keep her calm at all cost. He is such a sweet dog and is housebroken. We are pretty sure that whoever had him before the couple that we got him from was not very nice to him. He likes to hide under the bed for the most part other than when he is ready to come out. He will play and he will cuddle on the sofa with us. However, if we offer him to sleep on the bed with us he still ends up under the bed. I feel he would do good as a single dog and maybe with someone who is home often as we work full-time so we are not at home until after 5pm each day. He was and is still an inside dog which will be my requirement. He is a picky eater as well.

Cooper was found at my husband's work as a stray about two years ago. He is housetrained and loves his buddy Chancho. He immediately started cuddling with him the first day we brought him home and they have been inseperable ever since. He is great with kids and other animals, but timid with new people. We would love for him to stay with Chancho in their new home.
