Story
Lucy is a 12 year old Beagle mix. Her mother was a Beagle and her father was a half Beagle and half Poodle. She is house trained and been with us for for 12 years. We have a daughter that was born last year and she is not happy about it and has occasionally snapped at our little one. Like all Beagles, she loves food! If your family is the one providing her her food, she will love you until the end of time. This dog would make a great companion to someone who wants to let her cuddle up to you on the couch or in bed at night. Unfortunately, she is just not good with small children. She does have allergies which are controlled with Apoquel. We hate having to have to give her up, she has been such a good companion. We know that she will make an excellent dog for the right person or family.

We got Mae from a rescue 4 years ago. She’s about 5 years old. She has lots of fear/anxiety which makes her incredibly loyal/protective of her owners/family. I don’t believe she’d ever intentionally harm anyone, but she’d do better at a quiet residence that doesn’t get a lot of door bell rings or foot traffic of people walking by your windows. When that occurs she gets very aggressive and barks as if she’s trying to protect you. She will even try to get through the window (she hits on it). She’ll also bark at visitors so it’s best if there aren’t children around a lot. We love her and she’s great when it’s just our family. But we have too many people coming and going and neighbors walking by for her to live a peaceful life at our house. We are afraid she’s going to hurt a child in fear. She’s on anxiety meds too. She is super smart and knows many commands...sit, stay, lay down, go to your bed, etc... i think she could be a sweet pet for the right person . Breed unknown/mixed.

Both dogs found together. Tried keeping one with me and one in my sisters house & you could tell they missed each other A LOT. Nobody claimed them in over a month, and have no tags. The beagle, Rocco is what we’ve been calling him, is super cute and gentle. He has some type of rash I am trying to deal with, but have no money to help. :( I know for a fact it’s not contagious cause the other dog does not have it. The other dog seems like a dachshund mix, Mosha is what we’ve been calling her, is also super cute. She smiles all the time. They’re both amazing with my three year old nephew, and very loving. Wish I could keep them, but my dad doesnt allow me to so i would love to see them go with a loving family. I have three more weeks to find them a house or will have to take them to a center.
